Started property career in 1984 for JLL and progressed from administration to Property Manager and Department Manager. Relocated to Sydney with CBRE as Senior Director responsible for the NSW Asset Management portfolio before progressing in a similar role in Sydney for AMP Capital as overall responsibility for the office and industrial portfolio before relocating back to Perth after joining Brookfield Properties as the WA State Manager in 2011.
The WA State Manager role has evolved from overseeing the operational performance and managing teams initially for 3 properties, which has evolved now to State responsibility for Operations (including facilities and property asset management, and stakeholder engagement) over 6 office and mixed-use assets totaling around 238,000 sqm. Assets include Brookfield Place (Premium Grade Tower 1 and 2 and mix of heritage, office and retail), One The Esplanade and 9 The Esplanade both Premium grade office assets including some retail, 11 Mounts Bay Road (undergoing major transformation for asset repositioning) and the Bishop's See precinct, including 235 St Georges Terrace plus 2 heritage F+B buildings.
Key tenants include BHP, PwC, Chevron, Minter Ellison, Herbert Smith Freehills, Hub Australia, EY, KPMG, Squire Patton Boggs, Wesfarmers, Deloitte, Corrs, Westpac.
